President of the BUC Craig Bromell travelled to Geneva for a series of constructive meetings with the leaders of the major unions in Europe.

BUC President Craig Bromell met with BWI (Building and Wood Workers International) General Secretary Ambet Yuson, and with General Secretary Edmundo Werna of the ILO (International Labour Organization). Further meetings were held throughout the week with Sam Hagglund, General Secretary of the EFBWW (European Federation of Building and Woodworkers) and Per Olof Sjoo (President of Building and Woodworkers International).

It was agreed to continue the dialogue and the established pledge of solidarity between the Building Union of Canada and our European friends.
