February 13, 2019 – Concord, ON – Employees of Fava Construction Inc. unanimously ratified their first Collective Agreement with the BUC. This first Agreement includes a total wage package increase of almost 30% over the next three years. The new Collective Agreement includes a comprehensive health benefits plan, a defined contribution pension plan and safety training provided by the BUC.
Fava directly employs Heavy Equipment Operators who perform work in all sectors of construction in Ontario. “These Equipment Operators will have among the highest hourly wage rates in Ontario for their Classification.” states Anthony Iannuzzi, Field Representative of the BUC. “We look forward to building this relationship and helping the company and their employees grow.”
