Friday April 16th, 2020 – Concord, ON – BUC Members working for URBACON ratified their second Collective Agreement by a definitive vote of 22-1. The new Agreement includes an improved Health Benefits Plan, Pension contribution increases, an annual boot allowance, shift premiums, parking allowances, and out of town allowances. Bereavement Leave was also secured and this agreement has confirmed our members trust in the BUC, and further reinforced the good faith and excellent working relationship between the BUC and the exceptional leaders at URBACON.
Both Tony Cordeiro, Field Representative for the BUC and the URBACON team expressed their mutual thanks to how the negotiations were conducted and look forward to the great partnership between our two organizations and our members.
