EMPLOYEES OF CON-SULT MECHANICAL INC. RATIFY FIRST COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT

July 19, 2021 – Concord, ON – Employees of Con-Sult Mechanical Inc. ratified their first Collective Agreement with the BUC by a margin of 96%. This first Agreement includes Employer contributions of $3.00/hour into the BUC Pension Plan for each Member, Employer contributions of $3.00/hour into the BUC Health Benefits Plan, $200.00/year boot allowance, 10% vacation pay and total hourly wage rate increases of between 10% and 26%.

Con-Sult Mechanical directly employs Plumbers, Electricians, Gasfitters, Sheetmetal, Welders, Refrigeration Mechanics, Steamfitters, Sprinkler Fitters, Heavy Equipment Operators and Labourers who perform work in all sectors of construction in Ontario. “The negotiations went smoothly and we appreciate the support our Members gave us,” states Anthony Iannuzzi, Field Representative of the BUC. “This Collective Agreement raises the bar significantly for the other negotiations we have coming up with our other Partners who employ these same Trades.”
