The Ontario Labour Relations Board (“OLRB”) today dismissed LIUNA’s (Local 183’s) request for a full forensic audit to be performed on the cell phone of a BUC representative, empathically labelling it as a classic “fishing expedition” and a complete overreach. EMPLOYEES OF ROYAL PLUMBING AND CONTRACTING LTD. RATIFY THEIR FIRST COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT
January 20, 2023 – Concord, ON – Employees of Royal Plumbing and Contracting Ltd. overwhelmingly ratified their first Collective Agreement with the BUC by a margin of 89%. This first Agreement includes Employer contributions of $3.00 per hour into the BUC Pension Plan, Employer paid BUC Health Benefits Plan and hourly wage increases of between 13% and 20% over the duration of the Collective Agreement.
